During the Future Food Forum 2023, the Minister of Economy, H E Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, announced an ambitious plan to increase the food and agriculture sector’s contribution to the UAE economy by $10 billion and create 20,000 new jobs within the next five years. This move boldly prioritises both economic gain and national food security.
